Who should attend?
The course is designed for site/project managers and supervisors, health and safety professionals, principal designers, temporary works coordinators, supervisors and designers, and anybody else who requires a working knowledge of platform decking systems.
What will I learn?
The course takes place in a classroom environment. Candidates are taken through a slide show presentation that includes technical information. Also covered is legislation, standards and the theory behind the installation process. As a result, you will be able to plan for and manage platform decking systems and inspect a system working to the manufacturers’ instruction manual. Consequently, you will understand their limitations and industry good practice, identify faults, resultant issues and remedial solutions.
Location
This course is delivered at our training centre in Cheshire. We can deliver the course at your location. However, we will advise on the suitability of away from the centre locations.
Certification
Candidates will receive a certificate of attendance which is valid for 3 years.
Duration & Details
Timings typically 09:00-14:30 but may run all day. Candidate numbers: Minimum 8, Maximum 15. Courses held at our Training Centre include Lunch and refreshments, we also have disabled welfare facilities. There may be practical demonstrations, but no site PPE is required.
