We were especially pleased to be awarded the contract to provide Safety Net Systems for the Etihad Stadium. A project adding a third tier to the south stand. This increased the stadiums overall capacity to 58000 spectators. Our Safety Nets formed a collective form of fall protection. Helping Severfield PLC to comply with the Work at Height Regulations.
SAFETY NETTING @ THE ETIHAD STADIUM
Type S Class A2 Q100 Safety Nets were used for this installation. Secured to the steel using nylon rope with a 30kN breaking strain. This ensured the total safety and security of Severfield PLC’s operatives whilst they worked above the Safety Net System.

Our client, Severfield Plc required the supply and installation of a safety net system for a football stadium development project.
The Severfield project involved constructing a new third tier to the south stand of Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium in North Manchester. This would increase the stadium’s capacity to an impressive 58.000 spectators. Our safety net systems were required to provide a collective form of fall protection to enable Severfield to comply with the Work at Height regulations.
The netting was installed by our FASET trained Safety Net Riggers.
OUR SAFETY NETTING SOLUTION
